Kelly offers in-home behavioral coaching services to adults and children with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. Music, ABA, and other evidence-based practices are valuable tools in managing challenging behaviors and building life skills. Kelly has experience working with individuals who are affected by autism and other developmental disabilities, bipolar disorder, conduct disorder, executive function disorders (ADD, ADHD, etc.), and other conditions. Sessions can be held in a client’s home, school, or community in and around Boulder County. Different from therapy, behavior coaching actively addresses maladaptive behaviors in the settings where they occur, and it can be used to build or strengthen life skills such as communication, socialization, dexterity and coordination, creative expression, and concentration among others.
